Happening on the 11th to 13th August the festival last year soldout in a flash with past acts like Fall Out Boys, Kasabian and Crystal Castle. It is an event for connoisseurs who can’t decide between rock and electronica, so why not both! 9. Playtime Festival @ Gachuurt, Mongolia
The annual festival takes place mid-year in scenic Gachurrt Village. Its about 30 KM from the capital. It has grown its scale from a local live music festival to an international festival since 2013. They have presented international music groups at the festival like Peter Hook & The Light (UK), The Pains of Being Pure at Heart (USA), Mono (Japan),and Mumiy Troll (Russia).

10. Rainforest Music Festival @ Sarawak, Malaysia
In the spirit of saving the best for the last, you absolutely cannot miss the Rainforest Music Festival that takes place in Borneo annually! They bring together musicians from all over the world alongside local indigenous acts. The festival is held in the grounds of the Sarawak Cultural Village nestled against the base of Mount Santubong, about 35 km. north of Kuching. The festival runs workshops (mini concerts) in the afternoon followed by evening performances held on the two main stages in the village.
